While talking endlessly about various aspects of making the movie, he shows he's a very enthusiastic filmmaker, proud of the way it turned out and a great admirer of Lindqvist's novel as well as the Swedish adaptation. Although his comments are generally restricted to specific scenes, he also throws in several good anecdotes about the cast, his directorial reasoning for certain shots, and a bit of trivia about some of the props. Overall, it's a good listen for fans with plenty of enjoyable tidbits. • From the Inside: A Look at the Making (HD, 17 min) — Feeling much like a standard EPK featurette, cast and crew are interviewed for this look into the making of the film. Comments are short and to the point about character motivation, the casting, discovering the novel and about the filming itself. With behind-the-scenes footage playing throughout, the piece is actually not that bad and covers a good amount of the production. • The Art of Special Effects (HD, 6 min) — This is an interesting collection of CGI work that reveals the progression of how the special effects were done. • Car Crash Sequence Step-by-Step (HD, 6 min) — Just as the title suggests, viewers can see how one of the more exciting scene was created. Director Matt Reeves narrates the piece. • Deleted Scenes (HD, SD, 5 min) — Three sequences which did not make the final cut are collected here. The first two really wouldn't have added much to the film, but the last scene is worth watching as it shows how Abby was made. They also come with optional commentary by the director that explains why they were removed. • Still Gallery (HD) — A nice assortment of behind-the-scenes photos and stills of poster art. • Trailers (HD) — Two theatrical previews, one greenband and the other a redband, of 'Let Me In' are made available here. Then there's also trailers for 'Stone,' 'Jack Goes Boating,' 'The Crazies,' 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed,' 'I Spit on You Grave (2010)' and 'And Soon the Darkness.' HD Bonus Content: • Dissecting Let Me In — This picture-in-picture commentary track is a fairly good discussion on the film and its production. Kicking things off, the producers provide some comments about this being the first vampire feature for Hammer Films in over three decades. The rest is mostly reedited segments taken from other featurettes on the disc, and storyboard comparisons are offered as well during certain scenes.
